This ones for Lacie

1* I live at the lake during the summer and always have since I was a little girl but I am still scarred when I am wake boarding, tubing or swimming that the little fishy's are going to bite me. I put my knees up to my chest so there mot dangling down there as bait:) NOT KIDDING

2* I drink at least a gallon of milk every other day by my self...I love my mocha milk

3* I have the wost voice EVER I won't even sing in the car by my self it's that bad.

4* I always wanted to live in the city, a big city and even moved to L.A after I graduated high school and loved it I thought I would stay there, I now live in Downey population maybe 500. There are like 1000 cows to every person, not quite the city I planned on.

5* I love puzzles, Shawn makes fun of me for this and for reading as much as I do.

6* Since I have married I've learned to cut, hang, tape, and mud sheetrock, cut and hang trim, lay tile and any thing else you can do to a house or salon when redoing the WHOLE THING.

Finging Nemo for Kenlee

One day when Krystal was watching Kenlee for me she sent Kenlee home with the movie Finding Nemo... HOLY MOLY mistake. It was over 3 months ago and we still watch it at least twice a day. There's been days we have watched it 5 times all day long, she gets mad at me when it's rewinding because she wants it on "right now" When we went to see my mom over Christmas we left the movie at home which was soo stupid after listing to Kenlee whine about Nemo for 2 days we finally found a 10 minute clip of Nemo on you tube so all night every 10 minutes we would have to restart it for her, but it worked.
For Christmas every year me and Shawn decided to start a little family tradition where he has to buy a ornament for the tree that reminds him of me and I have to buy one that reminds me of Shawn, well now that we have Kenlee we buy her one every year too. For some reason this year at Hal-mark they had one box of the finding Nemo cast I don't know if it was one that didn't sell because the movie isn't that new. So as soon as me and Shawn saw it we bought and took it home to Kenlee. Christmas morning she cared more about her $15.00 little figures of the movie then her PINK 4 wheeler she asked for everyday, her kitchen set and her life size Dora Doll. After Christmas when we put on the decorations away we could NOT put away Nemo's ornament, she still plays with them all the time.
So we decided to go get Kenlee a fish tank and some fish so she could have a real Nemo at home. See LOVED IT.... she was so excited, that night we set them up there in our 2nd living room that we don't ever use so she asked me and Shawn to go relax in that room with her:) we sat on the couch for two hours until she feel asleep watching her new fish. Two days ago she called me at work really upset I couldn't understand what she was saying at all, then Shawn told me two of her fish died, so when I got home I asked her what happened she said "Nemo my fish died mom but it's okay cause I flushed them down the toilet and all drains led to the ocean, so now he can find Nemo and his dad" Shawn didn't tell her this she remembered it from the movie. She can recite the whole movie word for word it's so cute to watch her when she doesn't think you are. I guess I shouldn't complain that me and Shawn can also recite the whole movie for you it's a pretty good babysitter when I want a little break of playing dolls .

It's a SON for Shawn!!

Okay so I know every guy in the world wants a son when there wife is pregnant and every girl wants a daughter so when I was first pregnant with Kenlee I was beyond excited when I found out I was having a girl, to go buy cute little dresses and bows, dolls, and to paint her nails all the girly stuff and really that's all I know I grew up with 3 sisters and my mom who all are very girly and high maintenance...(for Idaho). My husband on the other hand has not one bit of any kind of maintenance at all and so on his days with Kenlee he takes her on the ranch and to go look for deer, as soon as she see's a deer she'll say "look big stinkin buck" and then she'll put her hands on her head like antlers and say "shoot me shoot me", something her dad taught her. She even has her own seat in the tractor and in the truck next to dad, they have the same work coat and work boots that Shawn has bought her, she uses his binoculars when there spotting and has a pretend gun . The other day she called me when I was at work to tell me she went down with dad to see the baby cows ( it's calving season so we're having like 30 a day) so when Shawn took her down to the barn there was a cow calving right then. Shawn had to stick his hands in the cow, hook chains around the baby and help pull her out, all while my 2 year old daughter is watching. So she tells me on the phone "mom we had a baby and it was bloodin everywhere and dad pulled it out and there was more blood...she thought it was cool? I can't complain he adores Kenlee and she is his life so I let them do what they want to do, I would rather have it that way then Shawn not to be involved with her. Although the other day when I did come home from work her nails were painted and I didn't do it so when she told me daddy painted them I was a little shocked those of you who know Shawn know why!!
So now that were expecting again I now how bad Shawn wants a son trust me I know he asked me every day "are you going to give me a son this time?" So when we went to the hospital for our ultrasound two days ago Shawn was actually nervous I didn't care what we had either way I would have been happy, Shawn said he would be happy with another girl too but what else can he say. So When Mindy told us it was a boy Shawn later told me he held back tears(good thing he doesn't read my blog he would kill me for this one). He has reminded me a few times an HOUR that there's a boy in my belly, I told him the bed I found that will match the nursery is a $1000.00 dollars he said so it's for Karter(not that little miss Kenlee is deprived at ALL),Karter... yes Shawn's already named him and wont let me change it. He already knows what snowmobile and 4 wheeler he would will by for him. Needless to say Shawn's a little excited he finally gets a son and I am happy my little girl might spend a little less time doing daddy and son things, and just daddy and daughter things.

Deleta

For Kiylee's birthday party we all went to Deleta on Saturday night, I figured that while all the big kids skated I could take Kenlee on all the toys and jungle gym stuff being that she is only 2...NOPE once she saw all her cousins out there on skates she thought she needed to skate too!
So since I am pregnant I didn't think it would be the best idea to put on skates it's only been about 10 years since I've gone last. Kenlee didn't care though so I put skates on her and tried to walk next to her and hold her hand ha. It was defiantly picture worthy. After about maybe 15 min of this I went and grabbed uncle Jr and Willie and they took her skating... great idea. They could actually keep up with her, not me. She got pretty good by the end of the night she could at least skate from me to Krystal by her self , she had fun the night was a success!!

Daddy pees standing up

So I have to share this story...Ever since Kenlee was born Shawn would not let me put her in the bath with him not ever, even when she was a month old he said "it's creepy" he'll shower with his son when we have one. So Kenlee has never been in the bathroom with Shawn ever! Until a few mornings ago he forgot to lock the door and out comes Kenlee freaking out and starts yelling at me that her daddy pees standing up her exact words "O my gosh mom daddy is peeing standing up ewww you go tell him NO NO now & tell him to sit down like a big girl" so then after I try to explain why daddy pees standing up she just looked confused. A couple days later we all went out to eat and I had to go to the bathroom of course Kenlee had to with me, the bathroom was a little dirty and there were no toilet seat covers so I just kinda squatted TMI I know but then Kenlee looked at me "mom you pee standing up too, but your a girl" good luck trying to explaing that to a two year old so now I have a daughter who tries to pee standing up!!
